As a teenager Jamie competed at the elite level in road cycling in Australia, and after a long break for study and career he resumed his participation in competitive sport in 2009.
Jamie is a now racing in the UCI Masters 3 Category in Belgium and Internationally. In September 2011 he finished 7th in the Men’s Road Race at the European Masters Games, and in August 2013 he won the bronze medal in the same event at the World Masters Games in Torino, Italy.
In early 2014 he completed a life-long dream by competing in the Giro Sardinia, a six-day road race that attracts some of the worlds best Masters cyclist. Supported by his sponsored team, Jamie finished the race in third place.

In addition to his own sporting interests, Jamie endeavors to support aspiring athletes in achieving their dreams.
He has supported Belgian Para-Olympic cyclist Chris Bosmans, and currently sponsors Jim Thijs who is a professional XTERRA Triathlete. because Jim is open, creative and opportunistic in finding solutions to keep up performing in XTERRA, he can be seen as a professional athlete and entrepreneur.
